Showers at beaches

While on the road and traveling along the coastline you'll be pleased to know that most popular beaches in Australia have free cold showers.

While not ideal for getting nude and soaping down completely they are great if you're on the road and traveling and do need a shower  before the next major stop and access to full private hot and cold showers.

Remember that in Australia there are good temperatures most of the year round and so having a shower at the beach under cold water is not such a bad proposition.

In lots of cases in more populated places showers will actually be indoors and include privacy so you can have a proper shower. these will be part of a complex of amenities that include clean toilets plenty of paper changing and the shower.

Elsewhere in the guide you find a recommendation to get the WikiCamps app which will help you identify beach front parks and day stops that have there facilities.
