Work in hostels for accommodation

Hostels love to recruit staff from there guest population. Across Australia and the world it is incredibly easy to get cleaning and reception work in hostels in exchange for accommodation. The deal normally includes a certain number of hours per day cleaning with the offer of a dorm bed to stay in.

If you can make it through a trial period that will no doubt include some of the worst work available in the hostel, you might find yourself working up the ranks in a reception job that pays reasonable money on or off books.
