Kettering, Tasmania

Stopping in at friends Gary and Katherine brings back memories of prior Airlie and the catch up fantastic.

Their place is only till June 30 when they will hit the road in the camper converted Toyota Coaster bus. This thing is fully loaded and shames the humble Pregio!

There home outlook is over the harbour at Kettering. The place is famous for being the ferry point for Bruny Island and the natural harbour shelters a fleet of boats.

Some incidental facts about Tasmania which is supposed to be in recession includes that over 50% of the population work for the government or receive benefits. Thank goodness - that gives them more time to enjoy being the highest per capita boat ownership in Australia! That's the spirit that makes this nation great!
