Rainforest World Music Festival Day 1

Sat 14 Jul 2012
Sprained ankle is the low light for the day, but it counted for little at a very interesting night of music. Couple of days to go and dual stage only pumps from 7.30... So its a bit of a short program compared to my expectations of Australian fests. Ie woodford is huge compared - 9 venues with programs throughout day and night.

Different scale altogether i know, but then Wintermoon is regional folk music for three days on three stages with a 12 a day program.

Hieniken is the name sponsor so the only beer at the gig ... And comparately dear at 9 rm... Fun otherwise but the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Medical staff were good - when i finally got to the first aid with my local cs host and their were seven of them fussing over my foot.

Still managed a bit of dance after that with a french hip hop gypsy group were probably the best.
