Is it east or west?

Western culture continues its intrusion into the orient. While the west concerns with power in the east, and oppressor from asia is likely indiscernible as full reflection of the west by the time they arrive, if the rate of advancement continues. Such eastern innovation includes the music festival business model.

Bring together 10 s of thousands of enthusiastic young party goers to one place and get them used to moshing just like they have seen on tv while, over consuming "festival" priced beers. I recognise it - its western culture.

The music was fantastic by the way and diverse as promised by the "world" music title, but the smell of big business is unmistakeable.
