Almost to Noosa

Crossed the Wide Bay bar this morning just as the sun cracked the horizon, having sailed and motored last night.

Now, myself and Alan Cutts are off Rainbow Beach, south of Double Island Point and due to get to Noosa just after high tide.

Conditions out here could not be much better. Light north winds have flattened the seas and this morning a light NW is almost the perfect breeze for the final 26 miles to the bar.

Behind us is a procession of what must be 8 boats also making the pilgrimage to Summer anchorages south.
