Tigra takes a crash

Mon 27 Oct 2008
The Tigra proved its stunt car credentials today, with out me even driving. Was up at at clients place, when I heard the call, "John, your cars rolling down the road." I hit the door with the thongs coming off and got to the top of the drive way just in time to see it kick up over an enbankment and disappear!

At the bottom of a 4 foot drop was a driveway with a flimsy gate across some building materials. Luckily, the drop must have taken most of the speed off and the wheels being well back in the car, meant that the rear end was not damaged in the fall. This left it with a short distance to the fence and soft-ish building materials to take the impact.

I guess there is some damage their somewhere, but the bumper has minor scratches, and the wing mirror has popped his hinge somehow....

Very lucky indeed.
