Great evening meeting interesting people on the the banks of the redevelopded.wharf area. There were about 100 CS ers there with everyone in good spirits. Lot of people from just over the Rhine and Frieberg.

Interesting points from the night:
- Some dodgy guy, overly tall, already drunk and dressed for hip hop was already drunk and helping himself to large amounts of food and beer. Caught more than once going to through back packs.

- Another Aussie guy there stole my thunder. He is was only passing through, on the way to the start of the Mongol Rally in London. Loosely organised, the intention is to drive from London to Mongolia in 6 weeks. Oh hear, the car has to have an engine less than 1 litre (that's small). He has a background in Cycling, about my age and definitely as friendly.

- An older larger CS member (not me) got down to his shorts and jumped in the nearby water, taking off for a swim of about 15 minutes. He returned to the cheers of the crowd. Someone prompted in my circle. "He is crazy. Its dangerous."
My reply, "Why? Is there crocodiles?"
