Access another smtp mail server on Rogers broadband

Access another smtp mail server  on Rogers broadband. I found the answer on this page

http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r20090958-Extreme-Rogers-Port-25-blocked-Alternatives

and set my email to access the SMTP server via port 587 which at the minute is not blocked by Rogers... and this let me relay mail back through my email host provider, Webcentral back in Australia.
